According to Scott Micheals book.
Grows up to 6" long and needs a minimum tank size of 30 gal. They are difficult to feed. Need to placed a weel established tank aquascaped with live rock and sand. With out live rock and its associated population of micro-invertebrate fauna(amphipos and such) the wrasse will usally starve to death. Only gives it a 2 on a scale of 1-5 for hardiness. So all in all unless this is a decent sized tank with plenty of live rock and sand for it to feed leave it at the store. |
