    Hi all,

This guy poked outta my rock a little while ago. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is? He sometimes closes up, other times is wide open. TIA!

Me too... I got a BUNCH of them, some green ones I bought, and some reddish brown ones that just appeared one day.

Yap, I got them also. A nice addition to a tank. They must be pruned regularly...

Nice hitch-hiker! Before you know it, they'll be everywhere!

Just tell your wife that having a tank teaches you all sorts of new DIY skills...which will save lots of money around the house...so you can buy more stuff for your tank...so you can learn more skills...

Thanks to all for the input and ID! It is things like this, popping up unexpectedly, that make this hobby so interesting. I'm just 6 months into it, but I can't imagine not having a tank in my home....or not having a Reefland.com to talk and read about it!!

    Thanks again folks,

    Jason

One of the best things about this hobby is the fact that this will continue to happen to you. My tank is goin on 2 years old now, and I am still noticing stuff that wasn't there yesterday.
