My coral beuty is deteriorating?

i dopted a coral beauty angel, she was doing great at the fish store nipping at gravel and swimming flawlessly,

first day with me she is doing great
2nd day awesome
3rd day a lil ick as expected
4th more ick but fights it off
5th day more ick and kinda stays
6 a little tear by her tailfin
7 another lil tailfing tear
8 day now 2 holes in ther tailfin
9th day she has some rupture in her right fin and a lil on her left
10th day her whole leftfinn is like 85% gone. and not too purple

whats going on, i slowly acclimated her with the drip line.

i dont have anybody aggresive except a lawmower blenny , and a valentini puffer , but i never see them attack them when i watch them, this looks like it happens in the night, theonly thing it could be is maybe ghost shrimp nipping at her while she sleeps

actually this didnt happen in 10 days , but in 2 weeks max yes.

Im not very experienced in this hobby, but my valentini was cured with a freshwater dip for ten seconds every day for a week. Have you thought about doing that? Also if it was your valentini causing the fin damage, then it will leave a small circuler hole...i witnessed this at the LFS with an agressive valentini and some other type of angel. Hope that helps. Good luck

son of @#$% .. i hope its not him, i really hope its not him. i never , ever see him be aggresive torwards any fish, just shrimp..

i dont want to take him out... but if i have i have to.. ive seen to small holes on the angels tail, and just today the angels whole left fin limb is almost gone. ..

what i think that happens is that she scratches herself on the rocks and i guess does it to hard to the point of tear.

i think i am going to buy hermit crabs to be at her funeral. ..i dont want to move rocks. everything is happy and thriving where there at, and i dont want to interfere with that. I cant take care of angels right now in this tank, maybe some other time with a bigger tank and much more community fish.

Is this fish doing lots of flashing (scraping on the rocks, sand, ect..) ? I have seen cases of ick where the fins will deteriorate. I would try freshwater dip, if you can catch the little guy, or dose food with garlic. You need to eliminate the ick, for that is surely the cause of the problem, and it wont get any better. Good luck with him.
