where to buy fish lfs/saltwater.com

I was wandering if anyone has had better luck buying online than at the local fish store. I would like to hear anyone's experience from buying online. I also was thinking about getting some live plants like a shaving brush plant. any thoughts would be helpful.

Where do you get your livestock? Here's a poll that answers whether or not people buy online. I buy at the LFS because I like to see what I'm buying first, but there are several saltwater fish stores within a few miles of my home.... I have bought plants online though (no shaving brush, though).

I am like Bubba in that I like to see the health of the fish I am buying as well as the health of the other fish in the tank and store. I also believe in supporting the LFS. It is nice to have a knowlegdable source to go to when you need help. I am sure if I had a major problem and need a pump or something asap that our LFS would open their store even if when they where closed to help me out. You won't get that kind of service online....

Well, R/C Man and I both live in places where the LFS is an option, too. BigChief, your location is just listed as Mississippi... it would make a big difference if you lived in big city like Jackson or someplace like Duck Hill... if I lived in Duck Hill, I'd order online.
