Hi All,
This morning I noticed that my Perc was swimming sideways. He/She was only doing this when it got to the water surface. It would get right up to the surface of the water and turn its body so that it was swimming parallel with it. It looked like it was doing a side stroke. It was eating fine and all other behavior looked OK. Is this going to be a problem?? Thanks, CaptK |

Were the lights on or had they recently come on? Mine does that at night. All night long he just swims at the surface, sometimes right side up, sometimes sideways. Right in front of the return bar too so he has to fight the current. But during the day he's as normal as any other fish and perfectly healthy.
Now if that isn't weird. |

Yeah, mine does that at night too. He swims on his side right next to the waters surface. Weird fish.

I have two percs and at night they both swim vertical at the surface next to the overflow box. They are 100% normal during the day!!
