    Question Storing pre-mixed S/W ?

I store R/O water in sealed containers. Question now is can I store pre-mixed water ready for use? The reason being is I was considering going from 20% water change per month to 5 Gal per week. TIA

Glock, I just mix up the saltwater 1 hour before water change. I do 30 gallons each week and it works fine.

I do it both ways without any problems. In emergency, I've used fresh saltwater an hour after mixing without any apparent adverse affects. But more often I make more saltwater than I need and store it in the container for a couple of weeks. Again, no apparent adverse affects. I just make sure it's well stirred and airiated before I put it into the tank.

I store my premixed salt water in a 40 gallon container with a powerhead in it for circulation. It will keep for quite awhile as long as it is circulated and aerated.

Why does it need to be continually circulated and airiated? Seems to me as long as it's sealed there won't be evaporation, and if there is, check the sg and adjust with fresh water accordingly. It also seems to me that except for the oxygen, none of the other H2O contents are going to go anywhere except to the bottom of the container. So it seems to me that vigorously moving the water to remix and reoxygenate it before use would be sufficient.
