Cool I.D. Please

I noticed today in my tank aprox. 15 white pod like things on my LR. The biggests is about 1/4" in diameter. Hard to expain what they look like, almost like a dense cotton ball some have a hole in the center almost like a tunnel in them. Just appeared!

These are harmless filter feeders that most often grow in lower light areas of a system. Common name is Qtip Sponge.
