Fish Suggestions
I Have A 55 Gal With A Huma Huma Trigger, A Yellow Tail Damsel, A Striped Damsel And A Percula Clown, I Would Like Some Suggestions On What Else I Can Add. I Was Thinking A Lemon Peel Angel Maybe For Some Yelllow, Maybe A Royal Gramma, I Dont Want To Overpopulate But I Want A Active Tank With Good Color And Hardy Species. I Am Planning On Adding Live Rock In The Next Few Weeks As Well.

Philosen,
You are full up, IMO. Your trigger is gonna get BIG. Unless you have plans to move it to another, larger tank in the next 12 mos, I would say don't add anything else. Also, it's pretty aggressive for the fish you are adding. Don't do the angel unless you have live rock, and then wait 6 mos after adding before adding the lemonpeel, to insure that it stays alive for you! Rebecca |

If you didn't have the huma huma trigger, I would suggest a royal gramma. But Rebecca is right... your trigger will get WAY too big for your current tank.

Well in all of the books and websites i've read a huma huma is ok in a 55 gallon since they only grow around 10 inches. Its they only trigger fish that can be kept in a 55 gallon. They are preety aggresive though and might kill some of your tankmates.

Suggestion.........Make sure that the live rock you add is cured and that there is very little out of water/temp time before you introduce it to your tank or you will have a huge cycle on your hands and your tank buddies will be dead within 3 days. You can have Huma in that tank size but make sure you add a protein skimmer to clean up particles/waste. You don't need anything elaborate for that tank size, Probably under a $100 dollars expense wise.
