Not bad, try a faster shutter speed to stop fish movement. Also if you can, set a custom white balance to get some of the blue out. Keep trying!

I think beginners (in dig. photography) should probably download Picasa 2 from Google - it's free. Not perfect by any measure, but very easy to use to correct for things like white point.

Personally Mike, I use Rawshooter Essentials 2006 or Silkypix (free version) but I think they only do RAW: and I'm sure you'd agree that it's better to get it right in camera. My excuse would be that many compacts make a complete hash of the auto WB and most beginners don't have a clue how to set it - let alone the shutter speed! My poor wife can't even set the ISO or the flash on her Nikon compact!

Nice, but a yellow tang should have a tank of at least 60 gallons. They need a lot of swimming room.
