?? About Curing Live Rock
I have been curing my live rock for about 3 1/2 weeks now. My ammonia is at zero but my nitrite is at 5.0 will this start dropping now that the ammonia is at zero or am I doing something wrong?? I'm doing 100 % water changes 2 times a week. Should I do it more often?? I am going by the directions that came with the rock it say's to do it twice a week and the rock should be cured in 1 to 3 weeks but it has been over 3 weeks now any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Reduce the water changes to 50% and see how it works out. What is the nitrate reading? Also, what test kits are you using? If the ammonia is at 0 I would have expected to already see the nitrite dropping as well.
