ID Please.
bought an anemone and it was attached to a green branch. the local fish store gave it to me with the anemone just cannot figure out what it is.. please help.

Check out the Algae Page http://www.saltcorner.com/sections/g.../algaepage.htm It's hard to tell from pictures, but cruise down the Codium species under calcareous algaes... does it look like any of those?

yes it does Codium decorticatum is what it looks like, now that i know what it is... is it good. should i remove fropm the tank. and haha well did i get a good deal on it (Free)

The algaes you definitely don't want in your main tank are the fast growing type that cover corals, send roots into corals and kill stuff (hair algaes, slime algaes, and most caulerpa species). The calcareous algaes in general grow more slowy and are not as invasive. I'd take a wait and see approach on this one, myself, but it's not my tank....
