Going away for summer-help with maintenance

I have a 30 gallon marine tank, started in january of this year, but we are going to be going on an extended summer vacation this year, and i need to explore some options with how to either maintain it throughout the summer, or dismantle it and start fresh in the fall. It is possible that i can return from up north about once a week. Also, would it be cheaper to start again in the fall, or keep it maintained? (possibly professionally) Any tips or experience in this matter would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks

No friends/neighbors can help with feeding and top offs. And maybe you could do check ups ever two weeks or so ?

Our local 'fish service' LFSs will feed once a day and take care of the system. They charge $65/hour US$) here in So CA.

You could try a combo of the two. A trusted neighbor or reliable person comes in to feed daily and the service comes in twice a week to maintain and check other issues.

I don't know how much it would cost you to have to travel back and forth weekly. So the economics of the matter are your choice.

I travel a lot for work (I'm in Virginia right now) and my trusted neighbor feeds twicie a day, looks everything over and my LFS comes by twice a week to clean skimmer, replenish and check the systems out.

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking of scrapping the tank altogether, but now i might try to keep it going.
