I just bought a sand sifting star, I'm super worried about him. My pepperment shrimp deciede to EAT his legs, I didn't relieze what was going on till it was too late. The star is down to one good ten. and 4 nubs !?!?! What should I do ? I've never seen anything like that happen to a star.

I've never heard of a pepperment shrimp going after a starfish! Obviously you need to remove one of them from the tank...

Do you think the star will make it???

Sorry for your loss..... I still can't believe it. I've housed two peppermints (along with cleaners) with my sandsifter, and I never had any problems.
good luck in the future.
