Live rock FINALLY

I was finally able to get some live rock for my tank, I have about 50 lbs mixed, Fiji, Exceptional and a couple others. I love the way it looks and many pieces have polyps in various colors. What is the best way to care for these to make sure they stay as beautiful as they can be. Also what are the benifits other than looks? If I leave some "dead" coral pieces in the tank will they become live rock as well?

There are so many benefits. First of all live rock has thriving nitrifying bacteria cultures that will convert the harmful substances and practically filter them. Th edead pieces over time and even plain base rock over time will become seeded with the bacterian become live. you won't vbe able to tell the dif! As far as the anemones I haven't been as fortunate to get a piece of live rock like that, though I have seen them. I really don't know about coral, but consider me a live rock expert, LOL
