new fish

Its been a long time since Ive been here or (even on my computer).
I had kind of a disaster in my tank. we had a very hot heat wave that I just could not keep up with. bring my tank temp up to 90 for almost 2 weeks water changes 4 3pound blocks of Ice every day just didnt work??? I know chiller I couldnt afford at the time. so anyway the only things that are left are my clarkii and a gonipora. looking to restock
180 gallon

pair of sand sifting gobys
purple tang
Naso tang
7 green chomis
3 cleaner shrimp
copper band butterfly
lawn mower blenny
six line wrasse
and a couple of more.
how does this sound? also I really wanted to add them all in one day so I dont have any territorial problems.

Thanks Jerrod

Adding them in all one day is not something the biological filter will likely be able to handle. Even if it does, the other organics will shock the system. The system will need to be thoroughly prepared for that incoming load.

I don't recommend putting in all the livestock at the same time unless each is being quarantined and properly acclimated to enter the display.

So if tank and fish are acclimated, it should work.

But if the only reason for the single introduction is because of 'territorial issues' I think you'll find that in a 180 this issue won't be as pronounced as in a smaller aquarium. You can introduce the tangs in order of least to most assertive, as well as the other fishes and still maintain the peace.

Good luck!
