how many pounds of sand
How many pounds of crushed coral or sand would I need to put in a 160 gal. tank.

Hi mountaindew,
It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Obviously it will take more for a deep sand bed (functional filter) than for a shallow sand bed that is just for looks. There are some calculators available on the internet that will allow you to put in your tank dimensions and the depoth you wish to acquire to get an estimated about of sand. |
