HI all, I have asked a few questions in other parts of this site, I have had trops and african cyclids for years but have just decided to convert my standard 3 ft tank to marine FOLR (to start with,) I believe the tank is 55 gall/150 litres, and have had it running for 2 weeks now have bought a red see prism skimmer 400liters per hour, 7 kg live rock another 20 on order,am running a power head internal and a fluval canister external combined stated turn over around 16oo litres per hour, currently
PH 8.4
SG 1.025
Alkaline aroun 1.7 to 1.8
Nitrite 0.05 or less
no nitrate test kit yet
Question my skimmer is not picking up much at all is this normal,
I am told by the aquarium that I could try a cheap fish (a Damsil) this week end tank will be 4 weeks up by then is this okay,
and will I be able to put anenamas or whoever you spell it in this tank,
thanks
dobz
