play sand
does anyone one know where in southwest florida you can buy the aragonite play sand to use in a saltwater aquarium

It's usually not available retail anywhere in the state of Florida. It's true that it comes in from the Bahamas in Ft. Pierce but it's tricky to get them to sell it to you. Some people have been successful buying a ton of it for practically nothing (like maybe $50). They have to shovel it themselves into the bed of their pickup truck. I don't know if anyone has succeeded in that lately but one guy on this board got away with it a few years ago.
