Huma,
Antennata lions get to be about 8 inches long. You probably want to keep it in at least a 75G if you want it to have tankmates. As far as what to keep -- NOTHING it can swallow. No clowns, jawfish, gobies, chromis, damsels, small tangs, etc, etc. It can and WILL (speaking from personal experience here) eat anything small enough for to swallow. And they have big mouths. Do you have fish you like? What's your plan for this tank -- fish only w' live rock? semi reef? I would look at some of the smaller lions, equally as cool (especially the Fu Manchu). Here's a great article: Lions&Rels DEFINITELY make sure you get your lion on "dead" foods. Keep away from the feeder goldfish, etc. They are not your lion's natural food and will significantly shorten its lifespan. Good Luck! Rebecca |

They get to be 9 inches. For some reason this link didn't copy for you the first time. Take a look at this article. http://www.wetwebmedia.com/lions&rels.htm Last edited by almostdiva; 12-19-2006 at 09:06 AM. Reason: didn't copy link properly. |
