Hybrid Dragonets?

Might be a dimb question, but is it possible to cross-breed a Scooter Blenny and a Mandarinfish? I heard a rumor it was- though I kinda doubt it, but if it is, I'm gonna try it.

Where did you hear that? I believe people have attempted unsuccessfully to cross Synchiropus splendidus with S. picturatus. I haven't read anything about even considering an attempt at crossing S. ocellatus or S. stellatus with S. splendidus.

Just based on appearances, it would seem more likely that maybe you could cross S. ocellatus with S. stellatus. I have no idea if that has even been attempted.
