Can archilles and sailfin tang coexist?

Archilles=very aggressive
Sailfin=most docile tang

Can they coexist in a +220 gallon tank?

If not, is either one appropriate for this size tank?

I wouldn't hesitate to try them in that size tank.

They should be fine together. Just make it a point to put the Sailfin Tang in first and it shouldn't be more than 2" in size difference than the Achilles.

Re: Can archilles and sailfin tang coexist?

When you plan fish, you want to always add the aggressive ones last. That way they have not had a chance to set up territories first or also establish the tank as theirs first.

I add my powder blue last and he worked out find. The Purple Tang kinda went after him at first, but that didn't last for more than an hour until the lights went off. By the next day they were find.

Someone gave me a Firefish recently and when I added him, the first fish to bully on him was the Powder Blue. I thought he might now make it until the lights went out. The PB was relentless in his attacks, but the Firefish made it. Good thing they are little bolts of lightening. Now he is part of the community and the PB leaves him alone.
