feeding a now timid lion fish
Hi all,
Need some help, after my lion fish has recovered he is now very timid, before the illness, he would basically come right to the top of the tank when i opened the lid, now he cowers. this is making it very hard to get him to eat. he has taken live stuff, but im trying to get him off them. ANyone have any ideas or tips for me would be great. thanks |

Since it is still eating live foods, then it can probably be tempted by feeding it 'moving' dead things.
First step is to feed it a dead whatever it's been eating. Put it on the end of a feeder stick or use tongs and move it around in front of the fish. If this works, move on to other dead foods. It's a matter of presentation. Please read this for the concept and you may come up with additional ideas: Food Presentation
