WHO HAS SEEN The Purple Tilefish?
I got this guy in the same day I got my Powder Blue Tang. He's very shy, about 6" long and the most strikingly colorful fish I have ever seen! He's doing very well, and is very secure in his lair under the rocks! His eyes are such irredescent blue that it takes your breath away! I'll get better pictures as he becomes less shy! I'd HIGHLY recommend these fish!

I saw one in my local LFS but when I read up on them I read that they were deepwater fish and didn't like bright lights. How is your doing and what type lights are you running?

I have had him over 2 months now....he's eating flake, brine, krill, squid, mysis...I started him off with newly hatched brine shrimp. He's always out, but loves to work the tunnels he has under the rock. I burn 3 X 250 SE XM 10K Halides on an eleven hour photoperiod. SWEET FISH!
