Happy Holidays to all!
'Tis the season for many occasions. Just a short post to keep things going and in line with your marine systems:
1. Keep maintenance up. Don't get so into the 'spirit' that you neglect your pets.
2. You'd like to show off your marine system and inhabitants to holiday visitors. Understandable. But tell your visiting relatives and friends, especially the young ones, not to touch anything and not to add anything to the water. Fish do not like eggnog, turkey dinner, or 'drop ins.'
3. Remind the youngsters not to hit the tank. Fish have 7 senses; humans have only 5. A hit on the display tank is like a firecracker going off in their heads.
4. If anyone has suggestions or complains about what you should do or have in your system, present them with a pre-made "Fish Donations" box for them to put money into, along with their written suggestions/complaints.
5. Provide your significant other, relatives, and others your list of stocking stuffers for your marine aquarium, especially giving them the online address of any Forum sponsors that offer gift certificates.
Speaking of which, what are your gift ideas -- getting or giving -- for the marine aquarium?
Happy Holidays (again).
