Smile Aquarium Setup

I want to know what you guys think.
Right now my tank is just a FOWLR.

I just want to know if I am doing anything wrong and what I can do to improve my tank.

I have a 55 Gallon all glass aquarium.

I have a double fluorescent light with one White Eclipse Natural Daylight F40T10 and a Blue Coralife Actinic F40T12BP.

I have a SeaClone 100 Protein Skimmer which has a Maxi-Jet 1200 Pump.

I have a Zoo-Med Aquatic PowerSweep 226. (190 GPH)

I have two Penguin Power Heads. (170 GPH)
These were from an undergravel filter I originally had.
I only added these to give the live rock some water movement.

Here is another picture of the whole tank.

Basically what I am trying to do is find out if my setup is enough for a FOWLR tank.
I have lost alot of money because the pet store I bought the tank and equiptment from convinced me undergravel was the right method.
I have also lost a few fish because of it.
I now have a Fluval 305 canister filter and one day hope to have a refugium.
I have 37.5 lbs of live rock and 50 lbs of live sand.

My temperature is stuck at 84 right now but for the longest time it was 80 and I cant figure out how to cool it down.

This is what I do weekly:

On Monday:
1. Feed Brine Shrimp (one square)
2. Add 1/4 tsp. of Biozyme.
3. Check pH, Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate.
4. Check salt level.

On Tuesday-Sunday:
1. Feed Brine Shrimp..
I now rotate between Brine Shrimp, Mysis Shrimp, and some kind of entre.
I also use a plastic tube to feed my two anemone's three pellets of fish food about three times a week.

Also I read on the forum not to use tap water... I do.
I have not had too bad of results from the tap water.
Is distilled water okay?

I really just need some advice. I want to know what I should do to improve my tank. I really want my live rock to be healthy and grow things. What should I upgrade first? In other words, what is most important?

Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Aquarium Setup

A bit short on live rock, in my opinion. Otherwise if you follow along what I wrote, I'm pleased! See: Setting Up a FOWLR Aquarium
