Add a fish????

Hey all, I want to know if I can add another Maroon Clownfish to my 75 gallon tank? I have one now and would like to try and mate them. The one I have is about 2years old. Do you think it would be OK to add another because I know they can be rather aggressive toward each other. Also my other fish are:
1 Yellow Tang 2 yrs. old
3 Yellowtail Damsels 8 mths. old
a bunch of different snails
1 Green Emerald Mythrax crab

Re: Add a fish????

That plan should work. If it doesn't, it is because the Yellow Tang has gotten 'too comfortable' in the aquarium. They can quickly and easily grow to think they own the entire tank and any new fish is unwelcomed.

Don't forget that the Anemonefishes are Damsels. The mated pair may take on a different (negative) view of having Damsels nearby.

Regarding mating, it depends on size and maturity of the fishes involved. If old enough and yet small enough, the one you have could easily fit into the male role if the fish you buy is old enough but significantly larger (about 2+ inches).

If I were you, I'd get rid of those damsels.
