The Clown Trigger will usually become mean after it gets settled in. Not a very good community fish considering the Tangs and Butterfly.

The tank may be overstocked, depending upon the other equipment you will have. If you are thinking of a high-end system, then that fish load should be okay.

Re: thinking about a 125 fish only tank.

Triggers are definetly mean little guys! I think the triggers would bully the angels, the sixline might be bullied as well, although some of them can be mean in their own right (Which would be good in this tank as fish that don't stand up for themselves won't fair well). The butterflys will almost definetly take some abuse from the triggers. Get rid of the triggers and your tank will be happier I think. Damsels are tough for their size, but those triggers are still big enough to kill. Triggers also LOVE to bully crabs and snails. No crabs that don't have a shell, (like a hermit), to protect themselves. Get tough snails to clean the tank, (no astreas, limpets, chitons, (unless you attach the Chiton to a rock) etc...)

but i like the triggers

so if not a trigger then what is another good fish only fish to use can i go with a lionfish...... I was also thinking of just putting a baby blue spot sting ray in with a puffer, trigger, lionfish and tang...

If i were you i would switch the clown trigger for a picasso trigger. Have to disagree with John about triggers, nigers and picasso triggers are known for being much more peaceful. If i were you i would chuck the butterfly if anything, they become fussy and are annoying when they only eat live copods (which cost a bomb).
