Just found this Forum. Thought I would share my tank

Hell all. I have been keeping fish for over twenty years and frequent many of the boards on the web. I have heard good things about this particular board and figured I'd add it to the many I visit. So here are some pics of the fish i currently have in my FOWLR. Thanks in advance for having me. Regards, Tim

Welcome!
Very nice fish!
What size tank do you have? sump, skimmer etc. etc.
We're all really nosy here

Re: Just found this Forum. Thought I would share my tank

Well the tank is a 180 FOWLR and some of these fish will be moved to the 300. There's a euro-reef skimmer, 32 watt UV, a couple of Koralia 4's. I'm one of those people who swear by water changes. I do at least 60 gallons twice a week and usually 3 times a week. I feed my fish really heavily. On a weekend I'll feed my fish 15 -20 times a day.

I have had the Borbonius for over 4 months and he was one of the fish that came in the initial batch before they became common. I got him when he was a bit under 3" and he is well over 4" and an absolute pig and the furthest thing in behavior from any other anthias i have kept. More like hawkfish. The newest member to the tank is the Tinker's and he's a cool fish. Surprisingly he was tough to get to eat at first but he is fine now. Some more pics of the fishes. Regards, Tim

You've got some really nice fish there!
Well you have to be the most water change dedicated person I've seen yet! I do mine every 2 weeks and only 15ish %
It must be costing you an arm and a leg in salt!

Re: Just found this Forum. Thought I would share my tank

Yes its a bit expensive but my water quality is better than most SPS tanks. Believe the fish thank me everyday, whereas my fiance thinks I'm crazy. She's probably right. I love those fish and all fish and will do everything necessary in order for them to have a decent life. It's bad enough they were taken from the reef, (an issue I'm torn with all the time) I feel I should keep conditions pristine. Money is meaningless in comparison to life. Regards, Tim
