If a snowflake eel is getting to big for tank, will he stop eating? He is hand feed and has always eaten good. But the last week he hasn't eaten. Also would he be okay in a reef tank? I have a 60 gallon reef tank but a little a worried about putting him in it. Any suggestions

Space stress can express itself in many different ways. From a much shortened life to illness. When a fish is stressed, one of its expressions can be to not eat. Your situation is possible.

Without knowing the size of the Eel, the size of the tank, and other information about tank mates, setup, and the marine system, there is not much more to say than the above.

The Snowflake Eel is not only 'Reef Safe' but a fairly good community fish -- when young/small. They are primarily a fish-eating marine life that will not eat tank mates if cared for properly. Still, as they get older, fishes may become snacks or meals. So it may work out in your reef aquarium, but again, you have not indicated what is in the Reef System you have. With so little info, I can only speak in generalities -- The young Snowflake can get along in a Reef Aquarium.
