I just wanted to say this forum is great, but there is alot of info to get through and was hoping someone could answer a question for me, or direct me to a post on Bubble algae. I have had a FOWLR tank set up for about 2 1/2 years know and it has been a learning experience to say the least. The last few months I got busy with things and let my tank go. When I say go, I mean no regular water changes and algae took over my tank. Not a little algae, a lot of algae. I finely got around to cleaning up, and because the glass was dirty I could'nt see that bubble algae had also took over. I have my skimmer and sump all cleaned up and added more flow to the tank. My question is, does anyone have suggestions on cleaning up Bubble algae. I would assume alot of water changes. Is there any shrimp, snales or fish that like to eat bubble algae? Any suggestions would be great.
