    I want people to post opinion and fact.

    Which is the best salt mix brand???

    The one that works.

    Any salt, where its manufacturer provides evidence that their salt can be used to breed and raise Anemonefishes in, is good enough for use in a FOWLR aquarium.

    Ive used several diffrent types over the years and have been staying with Instant Ocean. JMHO

    I use Instant Ocean myself. It varies in price though. I found it for 52, 49, and then 35 (I stick to the 35 price kind) ;) ...per 160lb bucket.

    low quality salt is generally a lot lot cheaper than god quality salts. I've had great success with and use coralife.

    I've used several well known brands of salt mixes over the years. For the past eleven years, I have been using Tropic Marin salt in both my FOWLR tanks and Reef Tanks alike. I like Tropic Marin for a number of reasons but the fact that it has all 70 trace elements found in Natural Sea Water is a key selling point for me. However, it can cost a little more then the competition, but I don't believe in skimping when it comes to the health of my tank... we all have our favorite brands, but Tropic Marin works really well for me.
