Please go read the 2 post in your previous thread, You have got to do some research on what these fish require to thrive, not just survive, all 3 of those fish require a much LARGER tank, please research the fish you want before you buy them, and make sure you can care for them properly. For a fish to thrive you must have and enviorment to house the fish at it's adult size, not the cute little ones you see in the lfs, and keep in mind your lfs is in the business to sell things, very few, and I mean very few, will actually care about what happens after your purchase, so the only advice you can count on is doing the homework, research, ask and then understand what you've learned. Sorry if I didn't give you the answer you wanted, but I do not recommend any of the 3 fish you mentioned be housed in a 75 Gallon tank.

    Tanks,
    Robert

EVERYONE likes the 'Clown' Trigger, but the fact is, as the fish gets older it turns nasty. Even attacking its owner should the hobbyist be foolish enough to reach inside the aquarium.

Trigger fishes need a large space. As previously posted, do your research into their needs. If you really want to keep a Clown Trigger, I suggest keeping it alone in the 75 until it reach over 5" in length, then it will need a larger tank. They hog the food, so other fishes don't get their share. Thus, also not a very good community fish as it gets older.

Since you just starting out, you should read this post and all the linked posts found therein: Setting Up a FOWLR Aquarium

I don't recomend it either, but if your set on doing it maybe get a picasso trigger instead, and get them as young as you can find.

This thread is way too old to continue the discussion.

Sizing tanks to fish and fish capacity are covered here (which I recommend the readers of this post go to): Fish Stocking Limit - for FO and FOWLR
