I have never used oodinex, so i can't offer any advice on that.
You can not SKIM copper out of your system. The pads should work, but it will not remove it from your substrate. Have you tested your water for copper. If not, then do so.
Assuming the oodinex is truly "invert" safe, then I would guess that your rock is still "alive'.....but you most likely lost some life one way or the other..either via the chemicals, or the storage of the rock in the barrels. Since it sounds like your are not keeping a "Reef" Tank, your rock is probably going to be fine for a fish only system.
Sound like your coralline is starting to make a come back...
Also to be safe, run some carbon through your system to remove any traces of the oodinex.
Also, set up a quarantine tank. Lots of good dope here on that subject.
