jawfish MIA
I've had two yellow-headed jawfish for the past six weeks. THey have been doing great. I see them at feedings, and in the morning when the lights come on, they are ususally out lying on the sand. I fed the tank about half an hour ago, and noticed that the "main entrance" to their burrow had been filled in with sand. There are tow other openings that they periodically use, but there was no sign of them. I did a perimeter check of the tank and they did not get out. Now I'm wondering if these guys sometimes disappear for awhile, or should I be worried. I would have to move quite a bit of rock (naturally) to look under the piece where their burrow is. I figure I'll see what tomorrow brings, but just wondered if anyone who has kept these fish can offer some insight. I last saw the little one this afternoon peeking out of this same entrance, and he was also out this a.m. Thanks for any input. JWT
