sorry for the lack of pics....i wanted to wait till i got the hippo in it...i know the tank is small for him but at this point thats where it stays till i find someone to take it. its been nipping the acro and brain and im done with it. so, the hippo has been caught and relocated to the 20. he can stay by himself and peck away at whatever it wants in there. the tank is so much more peaceful now. the roon has chilled out and hangs with the brain and wehn the percula is swimming around the roon watches over the percs froggy.
the only other fish i am having issues with is the coral beauty. it likes to pick at the acro and carnation.
anyways, pics are being loaded for both tanks

    Twisty,

CB's, flames, potters, etc. matter of fact all angels are a crap shoot in a reef tank, the coral beauty might be a good resident for the 20, which again, same scenario as with the hippo, ain't really big enough, you might be rehoming both, my CB has never been around corals until this last saturday, I purchased a small 2 head hammer frag, he seems "for now" to be leaving it alone, knock on wood, that could change tomorrow. Keep the crap shoot in mind

yeah, if i could catch the cb, it would be roomies with the hippo. the hippo pretty much let me pick it up and drop it in the other tank, where a bag was waiting for it. it acclimated well and ate as soon as i dropped it in. im not putting too much effort into the 20 as you can see cy the pic...just havent had time but ill get to it...this weekend the wife had me redo the kitchen but she's happy now so thats all that mattters....i didnt feel like bouncing to the other tank thread so heres those too

try lowering the acro in the tank, maybe it is getting too much light, give a whirl, Charlie was discussing that with steve, not sure if it's the same issue you got, but it might not hurt it, lower it and give it some time.

it just bleaches out in the pic..in person there arent any bleachspots. its the same as the color on the shroom in person...its doing really well and the polyps extend nicely. i just need to get away from the camera phone. if you look all the way to the right you can see the brain looks all bleached too. but its full of color in person

I know what you mean about the camera phone, that's what I'm stuck with, see the pic in Parrotheads 55 gallon reef, had to resurrect the thread, keeping the 55 and 180 seperate, you can see my new hammer coral, got him sat. along with the zoa's, the zoa's are taking there sweet time opening back up. I've got a Sony cyber shot, nothing fancy but it's gotta be better than the phone on lay-away right now.

she thought when it got big it could go in the new tank we build she's on her own on that one. its amazing how much more peaceful my tank is without the hippo in it. that fish was the root of most of the probs in there.the roon has chilled out bigtime and is even sharing the brain and frogspawn with the percula. at night they sleep in the jungle of xenia. ever since ive had the perc, it slept in the top corner. as soon as the hippo was gone he moved to the xenia where the roon usually sleeps. im gonna build a screen for both tanks this week. the small one to keep the cats from the lion and the big one to keep a leopard wrasse and carpenter wrasse in mine. but back to the wife...she's already buggin me about the 45...

i did after she did what she did. she decided to give it a fish to eat and didnt make sure it was small enough. lions will eat anything that fits in the mouth. well, lets just say a 1/3 of it was still sticking out once it hit the belly. there was nothing i could do for it......she is gonna let me do all the feeding for now on. ill let her sweat it out and pick up a new one in a few days...
