    Removing a Trigger Fish

    Greetings all,

I have a trigger that i need to get rid of. I have a home for him lined up and on Friday i attempted to catch him and failed miserably. Every time the net got near the tank, my fish peaced out into my live rock and would not come out.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to catch these guys? i really dont want to remove all the live rock in the tank but that is the only way i can think to get him out. Thank you.

I think you can better appreciate how divers have such a difficult time catching them and why so many divers use cyanide instead, despite the fact it kills them/shortens their lifespan.

Just remember, these fish were caught in the ocean/sea so all you need do is catch this one in a small 'box.'

    thanks for the link

I think i am going to try a black net tonight and if that doesnt work i will be doing some new aquaspcaping!.

This trigger is so smart its amazing. I attempted the feed and scoop but he saw the net above the water and refused to come out until it was gone. I was shocked!

    Thanks again
