thank you for a fast reply. well sorry for the bad pic quality. well if it is a sponge i guess thats good. it really looks like slime white/pale transparent coat only on that one rock - so i assume its not like bacteria or algae cause it would have spreaded already. ???
The area you circled appears to be sort of shaded, which leads me to believe it might be a sponge. In any case, it is almost certainly not a problem. I really can't see any detail at all.

It is possible that it may be indeed a type of sponge! Take the piece of live rock out of the water and smell the rock...if it smells like seawater then it is not dead, if it smells putrid, then it may be something has died and that is the end result.
If you can get a better picture, we may be able to identify it more clearly.
well this is how it looks now!still don't know what it is, but it's not doing any harm :P

Would you live in a moderate size house with no bathroom? if not, then do what is right! Let your tank cycle for one month. Respect the fish! ;)
It's not an anemone. As I said before, it appears to be a sponge. Maybe someone with better eyesight can confirm that.

If it is a sponge and you expose it to air, you might damage or kill it. It's amazing that they survive the trip from the ocean to dealer, to LFS, and then to our homes.
On a couple of occasions I briefly removed all my LR from the tank to rearrange. Both times I ended up with some die off over the next couple days, which was evident by a small spike in ammonia.
Kind regards,
Gene.
