Hey new to this site. So I want to start a saltwater tank plan on putting a lionfish in it my question is. There are so many options on aquariums I'm looking at a. 29 gallon biocube wondering if I could get some feed back and all the advice I can. Thanks for your. Time

Even if you are thinking of housing a dwarf Lionfish, the 29 is too small. These guys are heavy polluters as are most predatory fishes. I would not consider any tank less than 40 gallons, and then, larger if you want to put more than one in the tank. And if you want one of the 'regularly' sized Lionfishes, you should have a 75 gallon tank or larger.

I am thinking about getting three(fully grown) for my 800 Gal. Do they fight each other? I have only keep them solo in the past. Thanks

Lionfish get along very well. Because they are predatory, you don't want a wide variation in their size -- you don't want the bigger one thinking the smaller one is a meal. They should all be similar in size.

Whats up guys....Thanks for the quick response(didn't mean to high jack thread). No pics yet my tank is still at home(japan) and I am some were else. It will be a few months but I will post them. Also I will hanging around the forum more, this looks like a cool network site. A little about me; I have had tanks all my life, But am recently new to salt water. I had a 120 Gal. for about a year, learn alot of stuff about salt from that one. I am determined not to make the same mistakes that I have made in the past. So i will be picking everyone's brain here and maybe I can be of help aswell. Anyway thanks again and looking forward to chatting it up with fellow fish heads.
