hi guys i just moved my 55 gallon into a 150 gallon about 5 days ago. i was sucsefull in the move with no fish lost. i also just added a huma huma trigger in with my snow flake eel, red lion fish, sailfin tang, yellow hawian tang, dog face puffer and a red hawck fish. i was wonder how big do the huma huma triggers get and if i had room in my 150 for atleast one more fish in the future.

The Tangs and Trigger will get large. Not only is the tank full now, you'll need a larger tank when they reach over 5" in length.

The HHT in captivity has grown to as large as 12". This is of course if you're referring to having Rhinecanthus aculeatus. There are a couple of Triggers with "Huma" in their common name. Ultimately, if you want to keep this fish for the whole of its life you can count on needing a 500 gallon aquarium eventually.

In their native waters, these Triggers are food fishes and although 'cute' and 'attractive' don't make for very good community home tank fishes -- in the long run.
