Smile I Am New Here! New Saltwater Keeper As Well!

Well, I am a 17 year old guy, with an interest in saltwater aquariums! I have never even attempted saltwater in my life, but I will now have a spare 55 gallon this summer.

My other tank is a 125 with some Oscars, and a Green Terror cichlid. So, I have some experience in the freshwater field, with aggressive, and large fish.

I am not sure if I will get shunned in this community, but I am interested in Lionfish, particularly Volitan. I know whenever someone mentions the word "Oscar" in a freshwater forum, people are like, "Oh great, another stupid guy, who is gonna put his big Oscar in too small of a tank". I hope you guys aren't like that

Anyways, what size tank would you recommend for a Volitan Lionfish? I have read, 50 gallons minimum. And I know that giving your fish the most amount of room possible is the best, but is a 55 gallon, do-able for a Volitan? Just that one fish by himself couldn't take up too much room, I hope.

Next, like I said, I'm a n00b at saltwater, but do Lionfish need more salt, or specific gravity, or anything special?

Can any of you recommend me to a link for saltwater begginers?
