Clownfish Breeding: HELP!

Hi! I'm going to buy some fish soon, and I was thinking 2 clownfish, a neon goby, and a star snail. Anyway, I'm hoping my clownfish will spawn, but I don't want to invest in an anemone. I've heard clownfish are most likely to spawn if there's an anemone. So, what species of clownfish are most likely to spawn without an anemone, and is there any special things I can do to make them more likely to do so, besides really good water quality? Oh, by the way, it's a 55 gallon tank. Thanks for your time!

You'll find some good books on the subject AND you'll find whole forums devoted to the breeding of Anemonefishes.

Professional breeders who produce large quantities of tank bred Anemonefishes never use an Anemone. The mated pair will spawn without one.
