About LinkBacksWhat is the best way to switch from tap water to RO water? Full, 50% or less water change? Can anyone give me a detailed step-by-step account of how they did it (If anyone has)?
Algae growth is become unbearable and dedicating the weekend to hanging my fixture, beginning the switch to RO, etc. Any thoughts?

I did a 50% water change when I swapped. Then after that its just normal water changes.

Anything special I need to know? Did you re-acclimate your fish? Did you add any supplements to the water?

Nope. Jsut made up 100 gallons of water the day before and made sure it was to temperature and same salinity.
