Wink 29 gal fowlr- 1st venture into salt

I thought i would post a couple pics of my tank. My Nikon D1 is setup with outdoor wildlife lenses and I guess I am gonna need another lense for tank photos. Oh honey!!!! LOL Ok the tank. Filter HOB Emperor 280, Lights 96 watts of T5 50-50 2x12k daylights, 2 true blue actinics, 29 lbs rock. I started with 20 lbs base rock and 9 lbs live rock. I did a fishless cycle with just the live rock. Substrate: crushed coral. I would use sand next time.

Stock list: yellow tail blue damsel, jewel damsel, purple psuedochromis, maroon clown. I consider this tank fully stocked as far as fish go. I have also added red flame macro and some ulva not visible in the pics I don't believe. I will add a nem and a few coral frags to await my 72 gal bow front reef build I am working on now. Sorry about the less than crisp photos.

Well the background is actually man made rock epoxied to the inside of the tank. It is pouris and contributes to the bio mass of the tank. It was there when I bought the tank used and I kinda liked it so kept it. Probably couldnt get it out without breaking glass anyway. I forgot to mention the cleaning crew in the tank from Reef Cleaners. Was a quick crew package for 20 gal. long tank. Dwarf ceriths, florida ceriths, nasarius and a tiny blue legged hermit I hardly ever see. LOL
