Are green chromis nocturnal?

I recently got a green chromis at 1 1/2 inch. When I turn on the aquarium lights in my 100g aquarium, he is very inactive. He goes to each corner of the tank and goes looks like this --> /
Yes, he is in a slanted position facing upwards hanging out at a corner of the tank for the whole day. When I turn off the aquarium 90W LED lights, he starts to swim across the tank! over and over!
Are green chromis, or all marine fish nocturnal?

No. What is in the tank chasing him? He might not be acclimated to the tank yet, not yet settled down.

I had him in there since saturday, and there are 2 green chromis and 2 shrimp. (cleaner and peppermint)

He's being picked on by the other Chromis. You will only have one when its all said and done. they do not school in the 2-3-4's, they school in much larger groups. And in small groups they will chase each other to death.
