Clown Fish Acting Wierd

Hi all!

I'm new here, so I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place, but I wanted to get some other opinions on the behavior of my clown fish. I currently have a 29 gallon aquarium that has been running for around 4 years. I've had a clown fish for about a year and a half and it started acting strange a couple weeks ago. It's been swimming sideways at the top of the tank or swimming vertically in the corners. I'm not sure what's going on... I went and had my water tested... no issues there. I recently adjusted the salt level and the temperature as I thought that may be the problem. Unfortunately, it hasn't helped. I did a water change recently and cleaned the filter. I also have a purple lobster which isn't showing any abnormalities. I've been treating the tank for algae, but I've been following the instructions very closely, so I don't think it has anything to do with that. Anyway, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Ok, so no one helpin out yet, lemme see what we have then.
Going to need your water parameters first off. If you have any Ammonia or Nitrites we would have to start with those. They are very bad for a Tank. Nitrates over 50 are not a bad thing, but they may tick off the fish some, it won't kill them. Next, Clown fish stake out territories, and it doesn't matter to them where its at, if he picks the top left portion of the tank, thats where he'll hang out. The other reason the fish would sit at the top would be that he is getting picked on by another fish.
I know you had your water tested by a LFS, but what they say is bad and what we say are bad are 2 different things. The fish sitting at teh top sideways may be a boyancy issue.
What have you been treating the tank with? Treating naturally with snails would be a better bet to get rid of the algae.
