    125g fowlr

I'm wondering what I should do with my newly planned 125g fowlr

I already know that I want these 2 fish

    yellow tang
    snowflake eel

    I'm also thinking of

    harliquin tusk fish
    marine betta
    niger trigger
    queen angel
    piccaso trigger
    volitan lionfish
    hippo tang

Also could you keep more than one lion in the same tank? Like 2 volitans?

The 2 fish you want will be fine.
As for the others its like this
harliquin tuck will pushing it for size but should work
queen angle will definetly get to big for a 125
the rest woud be ok for that size tank
but you wouldnt be able to put them all in there
You cluld go with the 2 fish you want plus 2-3 more since they all get good sized in time.
Yes, you can keep more than one lion to a tank.

I had no personal experince with harliquin tush fish, and I meant coral beauty, when I said queen, my mind wondered off,

right now I'd like this as a fish list

    yellow tang
    2 volitan lions
    snowflake moray
    niger trigger

I'm going to go skimmerless so I really don't want to overstock, I could easily do without one of the lions if need be

That sounds all right but if it was me i would skip a second lion and go for something different since lion arent reallly that entertaining to watch. Plus with out a skimmer I would also leave out one lion leave it at that.

    Hi
    agreed:
In a 125 probably No more than 4 or 5 small to midsized fish. Problem is the volitans will prevent smallfish. One lion is more than adequate in a tank this size
For me i would choose the harlequin tusk (great fish, its a wrasse thou-which mean digging and high activity).
an antennata or radiata lion (mid sized lions), and a planktonic feeding trigger. Nigers don't flip my switch but a pinktail or bluecheek. Eitherway these are all great fish.
the tang won't screw w/ anyone and the eel (which by the way will have to be stick fed -as it will not compete w/ swimming fih for food-rememebr eels are basically blind and they hunt by smell) will do fine w/ proper attention.
Also ensure your water maintence schedule is up to par, w/o a skimmer or some way of exporting nutrients, the nitrate levels and other problems(cyano etc) may occur realtively quickly ( a few months).
    my opinion
    frank
