Maroon Clown breeding??

Was wondering if anyone has had any luck on breeding Maroon clown fishs? I've done some reading and looks like they are born male and some will switch to female then pair off. Some one told me that the Maroon were more agressive than other clowns. I only had one and was fine by itself with my other fish.

Maroon's are extremly nasty to each other. If you introduce another one to your tank the first one will probably kill it. Your best bet is to introduce one that is 1/2 the size of the one you have. They are hard to pair up and the fry have the disposition of the parents which make raising them difficult. Now after saying all that I recently had a pair of maroon clowns given to me. They are very small now but I'm hoping they breed in the future.

I have a pair of gold stripe maroons in my tank. I got them at the same time when they where fairly small and put them in together and they have been a pair ever since. One has doubled in size now a female and pretty much rules what ever part of the tank she wants. They really dont bother anyone unless they get to close to thier BTA.
