I am planning on introducing 2 Canary Blennies to my tank. Has anyone had experience with these fish? If so, what do you feed them?

Unless they are paired or a large tank I dont know that you can place 2 in one tank. Also canny blennies do have venomus fangs to bit the mouths of fish who bother them or try to eat them.

Aqua_Man- the canary blenny is one of my favorite fish. They are pure preator, it's exiciting to watch them prowl the rock, hover like a hawk and then strike with blinding speed. I love this fish! Thing is, they have to have to have something to strike at. Think of it like a mandarin, you need lots of live rock (100lbs?) loaded with 'pods and other bugs. The most common complaint about this fish is that it won't eat and they seem to fall into a "some do, some don't" catagory. Most of the fish you see at lfs will have very sunken bellies, avoid these fish. You want to at least see it eat live brine shrimp, then you have a chance. Of the three I have had only one ever learned to eat to eat prepared foods and that took four months (to the day!). That one found his way into the overflow three months later, had to jump over screen to get there! The next one simply wouldn't eat and starved to death. The first one I had for about six months but returned to lfs because I moved so I don't know what became of it. Really cool fish but not easy to feed. Definately a reef fish in my opinion. Oh- I don't know about two in one tank, never tried it. I am looking for another "good one" right now. Good luck.
