Talking Got Crabs?

Hey everyone i want to add a crab of some sort to my fowi(fooo-ee, as i call it) i havent told anyone what i have got recently. I found a lfs down here at school and got my hands on a baby captive bred clownfish. i've also got a feather duster, a pencil urchin and a chocolate chip starfish. i know most people dont like the choco. chips nor the urchin but i find they are a great asset when it comes to keeping my sand clean and glass walls algae free. i'd like to add a small crab of some sort does anyone have any suggestions? the sand is pretty clean but my choc. star is slow and athe urchin spends the majority of his time on the glass so i just want to get someone to help clean up the excess food. i've put together my own blend of food which consists of a spirulina flake, frozen brine, frozen clam and krill all dosed in Kent Zoe and my fish absolutely love it. but the krill is in a pellet form and sometimes 5 or 6 peices drop to the ground and will sit a week before the star gets around to it. so i'm just trying to increase the quality of life for my inhabs and at the same time it makes the tank a little more interesting to watch. I've got my tank down at school with me and alot of my neighbors stop by and just stare at it with me and ask me stuff about the fish and the duster etc... its pretty fun and i'm glad no one is disrespectful of my tank so i dont forsee me having to worry about someone pouring a 40 oz. in my tank. any suggestions would be great. right now i'm leaning towards a small sally light foot or a spotted porcelain crab. On a side note i just wanted to tell a little about EIU's campus sw. reef tank its awesome. its very simple but its deffinitely got some excellent looking species in it. its got a black spiny urchin in it that is fascinating to watch. its got everything i'd ever want in a reef. too bad i dont have unlimited expenses. something to look forward to though.

jon,
hope youre doing well at school
i agree about the slf,the fact that they are excellent grazers, along with the fact that they spend alot of time out in the open make them my favorite crabs.
beware though that they WILL eat small fish when they grow,it has happened to me .if you can find a small one though, i highly recomend them

thanks organicreefer.....i am going to wait a week maybe then go in and ask the new lfs to order one for me i'm sure they will. oh another positive thing is i paid ten bucks to join their pet savers club and i get 30% off ALL sw. animals and materials. good deal huh i got my captive bred clown for 12 bux! he's about an inch and a half long maybe 2. the reason i'm going to wait is.....i got to get up the energy to make that long walk! its a 45min walk from my dorm! the walk there isnt bad but they walk back is brutal because its all up hill....talk about a work out. school is going good though i got my first bio test back and i missed one point i was kinda disappointed but...i think i can do better next time. i'm having a good time thats for sure. on a totally different point i was at a party last night and i saw a brawl break out and one dude got knocked out and the dude kept pounding on him, one dude got arrested another got hospitalized....needless to say i wont be going back there anytime soon. btw. org. reefer TRE is doing great but i cant ever get a clear pic of him for ya'll cuz the glass makes a glare when the camera flashes and i dont ever get a clear pic of him. i'm saving up for a digi cam so i can have it by this summer. he seriously doesnt come out too often but when he does.....its great....i seriously have only seen him come out to eat twice. i dont have a clue what he's eating, actually i got a good idea i think he's eating my opisthobranchs but i'm willing to take the good with the bad, but he's growing and when he comes out he loves clams and krill.
