snowflakes are pretty much considered the hardiest eels, and lions make excellent tankmates for them.i have a snowflake ,a dwarf lion and a blue cheek trigger in my 110g.they are very easy to feed ,ime.

I though that triggers would be attracted to the lion/s frilly fins and try to nibble them. You haven't noticed any problems? I would love to have a clowntrigger!

jc,
yes most triggers would probably present a problem, thats why i chose the blue cheek, they are one of the planktonic picking triggers, and are very mellow.the niger trigger is another mellow one ,ime.other than these two ,i dont think i would try it(a trigger and lion in the same tank).hth |

The snowflakes are like organic said, one of the easier to keep of the eels. If you ween it off live food it should be very easy to feed. I keep a small snowflake with a dwarf lion, and small niger and picasso triger. I do not feed live foods ever except the occasional ghost shrimp.
